  • A LOOK BACK ON WEDDING SEASON

STEP INTO OUR WONDERFUL WORLD

Our Sharing Style Menu
Our summer began with a stunning wedding at a private home in West Sussex. Guests enjoyed a champagne and canapé reception in the garden, including delicious pork belly with bacon jam & crackling skewer, pea & mint risotto and carpaccio of beef with rocket coulis & Parmesan sablé. Long rustic wooden dining tables, styled and decorated with beautiful flowers by Lulu Hampson filled the marquee. The bride and groom were looking for a more relaxed style when it came to their dinner menu, so the first course was a lovely selection of sharing boards, filled with cured meats, torn burrata, antipasti style grilled vegetables and cheese straws. The sharing style continued with the main course, where guests were served one of our signature chicken dishes with abundant spring sharing salads. To finish the dinner, guests enjoyed a strawberry parfait with elderflower sorbet, poppy seed crumble and marshmallow.

A True Summer Celebration
After a local church service, guests arrived to the beautiful West Horsley Place for an indulgent array of canapés whilst sipping on sparkling wine and signature cocktails. Dinner was held in a wonderful Sperry style marquee at the far end of the walled garden, decorated by florist Rosie Orr. Guests dined along wooden tables with a range of coloured napkins to tie in with the vibrant flowers. The first course was delicious cured trout with compressed cucumber, horseradish & pumpernickel, followed by a main course of roast chicken breast & croquette, with carrot & potato dauphinoise, English peas & heritage carrots. A classic dessert of set lemon tart was served with passionfruit & fennel compote, fennel sorbet & green tea meringues.
