Now this is when we really come into our own. Our chefs have been collating the best of the best recipes for home cooking – this week we’re sharing our Bircher Muesli recipe, guaranteed to give you oodles of energy to tackle the day. Scroll down to view!

RECIPE: BIRCHER MUESLI, TOASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS & BERRIES

1ltr double cream
400gr Greek yoghurt
300gr honey
3ltr milk
4 vanilla pods (de seeded)
3 apples
3 pears
3 carrots
2kg muesli
Garnish
1 punnet blueberries
1 punnet raspberries
350gr pumpkin seeds (toasted)
• Mix together the cream, milk, yoghurt, honey & vanilla
• Grate the carrot, apple, pear on a fine grater & mix with the muesli
• Combine these two parts together, cover & leave in the fridge overnight
• Garnish with berries & pumpkin seeds
