  • Charity & Sustainability

At RHC, we believe that our success is not only measured by guest satisfaction but also by our impact on the environment, our social responsibility, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion. As such, we have implemented a comprehensive environmental, social, and diversity program that guides our business practices and decisions. Our program focuses on empowering employees with training, tools and resources to work collectively in reducing our carbon footprint and enabling us to become a market leader in hospitality.

While we have our ESG strategy targets for 2024, we recognise that operating sustainably is an on-going business commitment. We are working with specialist consultants, Rawstone Consulting, to develop our global ESG vision for the future and our next set of targets.

To minimise our operational impacts on the environment, support the global efforts to achieve net zero and reduce our energy consumption and waste generation.

Waste no food

At RHC, our objective is to minimise food waste and embrace a sustainable mindset. In the UK, we are actively collaborating with esteemed charities like The Felix Project and WasteKnot, dedicated to curbing food waste. Simultaneously, our New York team partners with Rethink Food, a non-profit organisation with the shared mission of diminishing food waste.

People

At RHC, we champion apprenticeship schemes and commit to employing apprentices throughout the business to give individual talent the best possible opportunity to nurture their talent and potential.

We partner with 3rd parties to foster a workplace which promotes the inclusion of minority groups including gender, ethnicity and LGBTQ.

We plan to increase the number of people employed from disadvantaged backgrounds by 10% by the end of 2023.
